We're dedicated to making sure we respond in a timely manner. Unless we're currently out on a session, you can expect to hear from us within a few hours. If you've reached out to us on a Sunday, please wait until Monday before getting a response. We have 3 businesses & 3 little girls, so Sundays are dedicated to family & adventure. We have made special exceptions to shoot on Sundays, so if you're inquiring about a Sunday event, please indicate so.

Q: Which areas do you service?

A: We are based in Orange County, California, but are always on-the-go! We love adventure & travel, and the majority of the time will not charge a traveling fee--that is how much we love to get out there.

Q: What's your process like?

A: Well, it's simple. If our style calls to you, then reach out. We will discuss in detail, and if you'd like to book, we require a signed contract & a 50% retainer to secure your date/time. We are in constant communication with our Clients, so you will be hearing from us all the way up to your scheduled date--you will always be in the loop. From the moment your contract is signed, a text message will be coming your way to ensure that you have multiple lines of communication to us. We will also be providing necessary guides to ensure that you have the best session possible.

On the day of the Session, we will show up early--always. We will be there setting up, checking out lighting, making sure we have coordinated everything to a tee. We'll start with some easy posing and will lead into prompts and lots of movement--we want real emotions: undoctored, yet provoked.

24 hours following your Session, you will receive sneak peeks. Family sessions have a turnaround time of one week, and weddings have a turnaround time of 1 month (this has more often than not been sooner, but it also depends on which season we are in).

Q: Is your retainer refundable, can I get my money back if I change my mind?

A: Our retainers are nonrefundable. From the moment you book with us, our work starts right away. We make sure we send all the necessary details and if we haven't shot at the location you've requested, we make sure to go above and beyond with research, or with an in-person visit. For this reason, retainers are non-refundable, and non-transferable if used for Mini Sessions.


We do, however, allow for a one-time reschedule for all other events/sessions. For Family Sessions, we just ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid having to pay an additional retainer. For weddings, we will only be able to reschedule you if we have not already been booked for that day.


We also believe in being fair and just. If for some reason we cannot make your date (as we were all too familiar with during Covid-19), you will receive 100% of monies paid. Aside from Covid, we have never had to cancel on any of our Clients.

Q: What do I even wear?!

A: That's a great question, and one that we love covering! Here is a Color Guide that we send to all our Clients, and we ask that they reach out to us if they need a second opinion or any help. You can view it here:

Q: When do you suggest I book?

A: That all really depends on what kind of Session you're looking to do. We offer everything from in-studio portraits, Smash Cake Sessions, Milk Baths, Outdoor Portraits, and Weddings & Elopements. For Sessions that take place outside of the studio, I always recommend booking sooner rather than later. Our prices are always subject to change, and we do not guarantee an appointment unless you've signed a contract and paid your retainer, so even if we discussed a session in length, should you decide to re-visit in a couple of months, we cannot guarantee that our rates haven't changed. We do this because we are constantly re-investing in ourselves and our business. We attend workshops, spend money upgrading equipment, and are constantly striving to perfect our craft.


For weddings and elopements, we offer a zero-interest payment plan that is spread out between the time of booking and the month of the wedding, so it's advantageous to book far in advance to avoid having hefty monthly payments.


Please also keep in mind that there are only 52 weekends in a year. Usually by January, we will be booked at 60% due to the fact that we service both families AND brides. 

Q: Can you make me look skinny?A: We are body-positive here at 222 Photography. I'm a mother of 3 myself, so I know how hard it is to not nit-pick at every little detail. While we do offer color-corrections and blemish removal, we do not believe in altering your images any more than that. With that said, we are also great at finding your angles and making them work for you. We also offer Color Guides to help you find flattering colors, and we are always a text or call away if you need someone to virtually shop with, or if you need a second opinion.


The truth is this: remember all those years you thought you were fat, and then looking back and realizing--"DAMN--I looked great?" That will never change, so don't be so hard on yourself. Let us help you live in the moment and capture memories and emotions that will take you back to how much fun you had and how in-love you really are, flaws and all.
